Since 2015, Reemo has had many names and roles: a forward thinking hitmaker and DJ as Yosugi, a tour de force of hip-hop and experimental music as BAP., and now currently a true vanguard of tastemaking on the dance floor as Reemo.

Reemo’s approach to the deck has always been the same since the beginning of his journey within the Cul De Sac DJ collective: to entertain, to educate, and to mythologize the DJ as an honorable role within the world of music, which he has done across all his experiences DJing in local hero spots such as Bebop, Zodiac, Krapela, Parc19, Hotel Monopoli, and Potato Head Garage to name a few. To insist that Kareem and his solo and collective endeavors has shaped the entire Jakarta party scene for younger generations is an understatement, as all roads will eventually lead to him and his colleagues.

Mixing bossa to hip-hop to city pop to dub to indie rock to jazz and back to bossa, Reemo is a man that does not shy away from the branches of music that inspires him.
