MONTY HASAN
As one of the co-founders of Bebop Bar + Kitchen and Bebop Collective, Monty calls his sound the Booty Groove: a blend of house, soul, & Afro-Latin flavors that is perfect for lounge settings, & to keep the crowd grooving.
Raised internationally between multiple countries, Monty believes in the power of fusion and building bridges. Now, as the head of Bebop Music Collective, he manages a roster of 12 musicians. In this next chapter of his career, he helps to connect Jakarta to the international underground music circuit: hosting guest artists and promoting Indonesian talent to the world.
As a DJ, he has been featured in Mixmag Indonesia and has opened for international artists such as Jitwam, Jafunk, Cherokee, and The Whooligan. With his distinct groovy sound, he is regularly booked by luxury fashion brands & publications like Yves Saint Laurent, Hermès, Police, and Cosmopolitan.
