ABELARD
DJ, Producer, and one of the founding members of Jakarta collective STUCASA, Abelard was influenced early on by Soulection and Roche Musique. While favoring smooth and soulful sounds, his versatility has landed him gigs across Indonesia.
Started learning how to DJ back when he was 14 in his own bedroom studio using simple equipments, Abelard grew his house-based DJ skills & technique and applied it into different kinds of genre where he was influenced by many popular collectives such as Soulection, Roche Musique, Defected Records, Toytonics, and many more.
He has been releasing mixtapes and edits through Soundcloud. In late 2016, Abelard gathered people around his group of friends with their own unique skills and made a collective called "STUCASA". He created and played various events throughout Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, & Bali ever since.
